Does this handle Dwarven Toughness?
"Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level"

So how does it reflect this on the character sheet, or does it just do the math and then spit a warning if required?

cool, thanks, looks like I have a mis calc to track down!
Any recommendations on how to handle Familiars/Companion's HP when loaded as a character?
I have kinda worked out a way but is probably something better

For one of my players, I set their steed up with the creature type as the "class". It's not exactly elegant but it broadly gets the job done. I haven't interacted extensively with the newer offerings that scale animal companions/summons based off character/spell level, so I don't really have any advice on that front if there would be a goal to use full character sheets for any of those.

Yeah, some are easy, Artificer's Steel Defender not so much!
Hit points are 2+ INT Modifier + 5 x Lvl
Sigh...

Hi,
can the following be automated also?
Hit: 3 (1d6) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken.
thanks

Yes, partly anyway. There isn't support (right now, not sure about the future) for retroactively applying the reduction to max HP. So what I typically do is set up both "1d6 necrotic" and "1d6 necrotic, max" and roll the appropriate damage based on the result of the saving throw. This text would parse well to that effect: "Hit:3 (1d6) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or take 3 (1d6) necrotic, max damage."
