The live version on the forge has been fixed for a while.

Live is not fixed for me. Only the update on the forums is working correctly for me. You sure you using the FORGE and not having issues? There hasn't been an update to it for a while.

I thought I was - the leveling issue is fixed for me and I don't remember using anything except the updater, so I thought it had updated. Must be something weird on my end or something I'm forgetting. Sorry for the misinformation. It looks like the last time my CA extension file was replaced was on the 28th of last month (March), if that matters at all?

That is the new forums version (unless you deleted CA and redownloaded) you can see on the FORGE post the last official update for this was 300+ days ago.

Not sure if the last few posts are regarding a third-party fix or not...? Are we still expecting an update to the Forge version?

MeAndUnique should still be working on fixing it last I heard, but he's been busy so it's a slow process.

You must be right. Sorry again - I must have forgotten I downloaded it.

The current Forge version is confirmed going to corrupt your DB when leveling although the corruption appears to be minor and fixable. I wouldn't recommend using it and instead use the fix I posted.

I'm hoping that the author is still intending on updating this extension, as it was popular with my players. However, the extension hasn't seen an update in 300+ days, it's been broken since FGU 4.5 was released two months ago, and the author hasn't been present in the forums for a month, so I'm guessing this might be abandonware. I can't complain though as it was free. I would have been happy to pay for this extension as long as it was updated to stay functional.

The extension has been updated on the Forge. The issue you are having is that DMGuild is not updating correctly. That is not the authors fault.

I would highly suggest getting the version from the forge as the other source is no longer reliably updating

This is not correct. The version on the Forge is not updated. Me & Unique has not updated it since the last FG update broke it. They have said they are working on it, but real life takes precedence. rhagelstrom posted a functional version directly into this thread, but the only way to use that version is manually.

My CA updated from the forge on March 28th, 2024 and everything has been working since. That update may have been rolled back for some reason but it is working here.

EDIT: Nevermind, I am using the version that rhagelstrom fixed on the github.
