Not connecting to game

We are trying to get starting using Unity. I am able to connect just fine to the game but one of the players can't seem to connect fully.

He gets the password prompt for the game but it just sits after that. He never gets the screen that says, "Acquiring file list...".

Is anyone else having a similar problem?

I saw one thread here that suggested to Check Update before logging in. We tried that and it still sticks at the same point.
