Suggestion: Add Host FGU version to new column in Lobby

In the "Join Campaign" lobby, add a column showing the Host's FG version. That would help significantly with troubleshooting. Could optionally highlight if client version is different.

Voted for it. Hopefully once it's out of beta it won't be anywhere near as critical, but it is odd that it doesn't tell you if you're having a version mismatch or otherwise provide a way for you to check.

Currently, if there is a version mismatch, it will tell you when the connection is first made. The connection message from player to GM contains versioning information to ensure matching, or to exit with a message.

Everyone doesn't necessarily need to be on the exact same version to connect to each other; but we increment the internal versioning numbers when the data format or network format needs to be changed. It hasn't needed to be changed for several weeks.

If we get to the point where that is something that needs to be communicated, we'll have to add extra code to send, track and handle versioning.
