I'm pretty sure this happens on the Windows version (Pathfinder 1e) as well. It seems to register the location where you're clicking a little too late, which is only an issue if you're using the program quickly.

Fair point
It was not my intention to turn into a ranting loon
The "go buy a new mouse" comment got to me
I do love FGU overall and I do realise it isn't entirely finished yet.
And most especially I appreciate the supportive community spirit that lies behind everything here.
So...
Where might I find the wish list?

I think the mouse suggestion is meant as a 'if you don't want to wait until Mac mouse gestures can be better supported'. But that's my interpretation and I could be wrong. Hopefully the suggestion from the other Mac user is solves the problem or at least improves upon it.

Ah-Hah!
Ah-Hah!
That would explain the difference.
Mine is the Apple mouse with a single continuous touch surface on a single plastic piece.
I can right click, but I can't simultaneously left AND right click as its all one button.
The extra features are enabled by single or two finger swipes up & down, left & right or by tapping.
None of those gestures are yet supported.
Thanks for the screen shot - that made it much clearer.
