SFS 2-21: Illegal Shipment SAT May 2nd @ 5.30 PM UTC

Tier 1-4. The subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please note we may have to switch to another scenario if there are any delays in its release.

Be aware the current health situation unfortunately causes some unavoidable unpredictability (Internet bandwidth, ...) and may also cause this game to fill up rather rapidly.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

    About the scenario:

    A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4 (subtiers 1-2 & 3-4).

As the Swarm invades the distant Suskillon system, a notorious collector of alien life captures several Swarm lifeforms with the intent of selling them to interested buyers. Bringing these creatures to Absalom Station as part of a clandestine trade, events go awry and the trader's preserved wildlife escape into the station. In order to prevent station-wide panic, the Starfinder Society sends its best agents to find out what happened, track down the escaped Swarm lifeforms, and stop a full-scale infestation at the heart of the Pact Worlds!

Scenario tags: Faction (Exo-Guardians), Faction (Wayfinders)

    Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

    Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar, stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM announcements in the game calendar.

    Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

    Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I'd like to play -- with Tiffy (level 2 operative) if low tier or Shirin (level 3 envoy) if high tier.

My Tiffy XML should also be up to date as I think I've only played her in FG scenarios so far

My organized play id is 2387936. I have never played a SFS game before but I am starting to GM a non-organized play starfinder campaign game and would like try playing the system.

If sub-low tier I will be playing a Boros-013 a android biohacker 1 working for the dataphiles organization.

If sub-high tier, I will play a premade character.

I apologize for the incontinence, but since I have never done organized play before, I am a bit overwhelmed by how much more there is than the standard create a character for a given level and it is good to go. I have a few questions:
    1) The appendix in the guide does not have rules for higher level characters does this mean that all new characters must be level 1?
    2) If this is the case, does this mean a) I will be playing a character at a lower level than the rest of the players, or b) I have to play a pre-generated character?
    3) What else should I do to register and have my character ready to play besides making a level 1 character in FG before session?
    4) I don't really understand boons. What ones do I start with? Where are they represented in FG?
    5) Is there a limit on which books you are allowed to use such as there is in 5e Adventurer's League. Additionally is there anything from the rule books (Core Rule Book, Pact Worlds, Character Operations Manual, Armory) that is not SFS legal?

Only very briefly as I have to do some prep:

    1. Yes, all newly created characters start at level 1 (you can however play pregens at higher levels).

    2. This is a tier 1-4 game, which means players can bring characters from level 1-4. So it could be possible that some players have higher level characters. I would not recommend bringing a level 1 to a subtier 3-4 game (where most characters are higher level), apart from that it is however generally doable, though I would still advice a somewhat balanced party. So yes, a a level 1 (at the risk of some players being higher level) or a pregen would be options.

3.Make sure to note down your Paizo #, player #, faction and starting credits somewhere I can find it (on the character sheet is also possible). Having some means of communication (Discord, email, ...) is helpful for sending the chronicles. My contact details can be found under Technical Details in the game calendar. Edit: Also make sure Teamspeak is installed and set up correctly.

    4. You start out with one faction boon (basically you are a member of one faction from the start) and gain other boons as you play. At 1st level, they aren't too important. There is a society window which you can access at the bottom of the character sheet.

I'd also like to join. Let me know if there's roomfor me. (Looks quite full in the game calendar already.)
I'll have a look into my characters later.
