I reported an issue two months ago (March 19th), with some additional information 1st of May. I saw the message 7th May that the reported issues being reviewed. Can I just check that anything is being done ? Other rulesets turn around fixes really quickly , which is much appreciated, but I don’t get the sense that the developer is responsive (recognise people such as Moon Wizard doing what they can contacting developer). Is this ruleset still supported? Recognise this ruleset nowhere near as popular as D&D or Traveller, so wouldn’t be a total shock. Grateful for a response and sorry for the nagging !

Hi,
I'm the one who needs to get around to take a look at the bug and fix it. Unfortunately my RL responsibilities are in very high demand right now so I haven't been able to shake free some hours to take a look at this. I'm thankful for your patience and will try to get around to it as soon as possible. The nagging is appreciated since that significantly increases the chances of me managing to squeeze it in between renovating windows on my current house, building a whole new house and working 70-80 hours / week.
Apologies for the delays.
Thanks,
Simon

Hi Andy,
I spent some time trying to look at your problems today but unfortunately I ran into several other issues with the ruleset. There has been a lot of changes in the ruleset due to how FG & Core Ruleset has developed since we wrote it and also since the last time we fixed it so that it worked.
If you're able to rollback FG versions to end of 2022 then I think that your problems shouldn't arise.
Unfortunately I'm not sure when I'll be able to try to take time to fix these consequences - and since I don't regularly use FG (or play Symbaroum for that matter) anymore I have no real way of discovering when things break other than people like you mentioning on the forums. On top of a very hectic and buzy life currently I don't have a lot of spots to work on hobby-projects like these.
I'll try to squeeze in time when I have available but it's really hard when my weeks rarely include less than 80 hours of normal work.
All the best,
Simon

There's no way to pull 2 year old ruleset data; so that won't be an option.
I've reached out to @Simpe to discuss, since it sounds like they might have out-of-date versions of files.

Simpe / Moon Wizard,
Thanks both for your responses. As you say, Moon Wizard, rolling this back is just not going to be possible.
Grateful of any assistance - including longer term support for the Ruleset noting you (Simpe) are very busy.
Best Regards
Andy

Andy, MW,
It was indeed correct that I was running an old version of CoreRPG, which was causing a lot of issues for me.
I'm going to try to see if I can shake out some hour here and there to try to look at this but it's going to be late evenings/replacing sleep and hopefully get the most important things resolved.
Thanks,
Simon

Sorry, I bought this set of rules few days ago and I understand that you have many responsibilities but the burden of this matter should not fall entirely on your shoulders. If the product is not ready to sell, it should be placed on hold. Anyway, grateful for the assistance and hope soon resolution.
Thank you,
Cris.

Hey again,
A first fix in a long time has finally made it in and should be available at the next patching event. It should remove the annoying warning and make sure that the links on all abilities work again.
Hopefully during the coming week I can take a look at why advantage is automatically selected and isn't really possible to remove.
Cheers,
Simon
