Forcing Images in FGU
When I share an image/map with my players it doesn't pop up on their screen as it did in classic.
The image/map shares (it is in their map/image folder) and they can open it from there but I would like to force it onto their screen so they don't have to go looking for it.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

You can drag it to a portrait to pop it again for one person or unshare it and share it again to pop it to everyone. But yes, it is a change currently that sharing again doesn't pop it up to everyone.

The problem is: images never pop for anyone I share it to. First time I share it... nothing. I unshare and reshare it.... nothing. That is what I am trying to fix.
Images will pop when I individually share them but that is a pain for 6 players on every image/map.Last edited by Kritter; April 22nd, 2020 at 17:37.

Can you let me know which ruleset you are using and any extensions as well?
Thanks,

I am using the 5e ruleset.
I have the 5e-Language Fonts (FR) - Wizards and D&D Tomb of Annihilation Desktop extensions loaded.
Additionally:
The test campaign runs fine. Images do pop up when shared. ::shrug::
I tried creating a new campaign. I still have the no pop problem.
I tried removing all extensions. Not fixed.
I tried creating a new campaign with no extensions. Not fixed.
I tried creating a new campaign with a different rule set. Not fixed.
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling FGU. (uninstalled at control panel. Downloaded again from FG and installed). Not fixed.
I am running Windows 10.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks again.

I've been just dropping them into the chat. Then they can view them easily, and pin them to the bottom bar if they'll use it a lot. You can always drop the map into the chat again if they have trouble finding it.

Appreciate the info and as a workaround that works. Thanks.
I have two other friends running games in FGU and don't have my issues.
But I also figure the folks at Smiteworks would want to know bugs now instead of later. (If it is a bug and not just my ineptitude)

I need to spend some time reviewing the issue to see if I can recreate. I may need to reach out to you to get a copy of your campaign, if I can't recreate locally. Perhaps it might be related to some specific naming or data.
