Custom FX Layers
Are there any plans to be able to add gifs/apngs/custom content to the FX layer? I'd like to add fire effects and the like to a battle map of mine and I didn't see any documented way to do this currently on the wiki.

There is no way to do this currently. There has been mention that following full release FX may get updates. I suggest you check the wishlist and if your idea is not there, add it
