On the management of multiple groups.
As a software developer, I can see the trouble caused by the idea that being able to leave your server "on" for multiple different groups (to create characters, etc) is problematic. I don't see anything in the application that implies it has that ability to firewall data. Fair enough.
But it would be highly desirable if the alias phrase for connecting was stored as a campaign-local item.

Feature requests can be added to the Wishlist
Each campaign can have it's own password. But of course FG can only run/open one campaign at a time. You would need to leave multiple instances of FG running and since you mention aliases this is FGC, and each would have to be configured to use a different port. And every player would have to know how to configure FGC to connect to a non-standard port.
Seems possible, but not sure it's worth the effort. But, your call.

Once the players have created their characters they can use Manage Characters to export the character from that campaign and then import into another. You can do this as well by exporting from the campaign they were created in and importing into the new one.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

What I have done in the past was set the server up 24 hours in advance (more or less) of the game for issues like that. I used to have a standard version I've set up as my 'server' and an ultimate I use for the actual game play sessions.
