Is there a way to “ping” the map?

I’m using FGU. If I want to say “look over here” is there an easy way to momentarily highlight a spot on an image?

I’m drawing little blobs at the moment, then erasing them but if there’s an easier, neater looking way, I’d appreciate knowing it.

Use a quick pointer: Hold the left and right mouse buttons on the image while dragging to create a quick pointer. An arrow pointer will be created by default. To create other quick pointers, hold the appropriate modifier key (SHIFT = Square, CTRL = Sphere, ALT = Cone). Only one quick pointer can exist at a time, and will be overwritten by the next quick pointer addition.
