Is Fantasy Grounds down?
Trying to host a game right now and three out of the four of us can't host a game and testing is failing. We're all convinced that our connections should be perfect.
Any news?

Not that I've heard. No chatter on Discord.
I do know that Moon mentioned awhile ago that there was an issue that only so many games could be listed in the lobby before other wouldn't show. Don't know if that was resolved yet or not.

There is currently some connection issues with games run using the Cloud server instance; where data can be lost (and thus stopping some players from connecting or downloading modules). This is what I'm working on this week. It does not appear to happen with LAN server instances; but those require port forwarding to be manually set up.
We're working on the issue.

If you're running FG Classic (the phrasing you uses suggests you are) then this will be related purely to port forwarding with the GMs local setup.
