Can a player create a macro to roll in the dice tower?
In my 5e game, I like to have Investigation rolls made in the Dice Tower. The rogue is making a *lot* of Investigation checks. Is there a way for the player to setup a macro to have that roll go into the Dice Tower automatically instead of always having to drag it?
Thank you!

FG doesn't have macros, instead it has the hot bar. I don't think their is a way to drag a tower roll into the hotbat And I don't think their is a die command to roll into the tower (because then you could drag that into the hotbar).
They can drag a roll from the hotbar into the tower. Not sure if that's any better though

Yes, I meant using the hot bar feature. That's too bad about not being able to set it up to roll in the tower by default. Thank you, LordEntrails.

It would be nice. One of my players has trouble with aligning the dice to the tower.

Good Day esmdev
Check out the "Roll! For Initiatve" extension. My players love it. As DM I can send them rolls and all they need to do is press a button that pops up on their screen. As DM I get to select if it goes in the tower, has a DC, has any modifiers, all kinds of things.

Sorry, I am not fancy enough to know how to make those easy to use links

I use this and I like it. It does add a little more work to dm but to me it's worth it. Often when the party is in a room looking around they are talking wildly about looking at this or that or heavy in planning their next move. Making getting a word in or breaking up the rp tenuous so a secret roll request with hidden results makes things easy and unintrusive.

I don't believe it was ever added to the wish list. http://fgapp.idea.informer.com/
The devs ask that all feature enhancements get added there so that the community can vote and they don't get lost in the forums, like this did.

I believe my rogue just hotkeys her investigation and thief's tools rolls in the hot keys just under the dice tower and just drag rolls them up into the tower.

You may want to check out the Requested Rolls extension on the Forge. It allows the GM to have a popup show on the players screen to make a roll, and you can for the roll to go into the tower. It also does other things as well, you can read the wiki for it.
