Modifiers and NPC rolls
I've been fiddling around, prepping and testing. I've been playing with Core RPG and I've noticed few things, not sure if these are an issue in FGC as well.
- You cannot place dice expressions on NPC rolls boxes for example if you put 3d6 it will roll just fine bit if you put 3d6kh1 it won't work.
- If you make modifiers with /mod command and roll dice with roll or dice command modifiers won't be used but if you just grab a dice and roll them on the chat box, it will use the modifiers. I attempted also adding +mod command to the end, which did nothing.
- I don't know if you can place dice command on the character sheet as a dice pool. It would be really handy. I'm talking that if you could place 3d6dl1 and all the other commands. And customizing the modifier boxes in core rpg would be really useful, making them targets instead inside the UI.

As far as I know, none of the things you are trying to do are supported in CoreRPG, in FGC or FGU...
For instance, where did you get the "3d6kh1" format from? That might work in MoreCore? I do know FGU does have some dice expressions but I would have to check the wiki to know what works. By chance did you get that from the FGU wiki?
I don't think you are supposed to be able to add a mod command to a die command in the chat. Again, is this documented somewhere that you should be able to?
I would be surprised if initial release of FGU supported die pools like that. But not surprised if they don't get added later. I would think MoreCore might be able to do this before CoreRPG though. But just guessing.

In fantasy grounds unity if you type /die 3d6 (roll three dice) k1 (keep 1 highest) It is documented in https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...0/Rolling+Dice
This feature was advertised in one of the kickstarter videos which was a big draw for me.
Here is adding modifiers to the roll: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...our+Dice+Rolls
At the time of writing this message writing /mod +1 longsword and after that rolling dice with a command /die 3d6 does not add that modifier to the roll. This however works if you grab 3d die and roll it normally. This however works in fantasy grounds classic either way.

Whilst the dice rollers are there in Unity those would need to be built into any rulesets for them to be useable in that ruleset.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php
