Demo Account Trying to Force Upgrade.

Hello, I am having trouble with one of my friends testing out the demon license. They are running Windows 10 and any time they try to join a campaign using their username and 4.0.0FREE it forces their browser to got to https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/index.xcp#basket and closes the program. They did a full reinstall but it does not help.

There is a separate "Upgrade" button that will redirect to that site from the free version. Are you sure that your friend is hitting the "Start" button after clicking on the Join Game screen and selecting/entering the GM user name to connect to?

P.S. I just tried on the latest FGU client using the Free version; and that's what I found. Upgrade button takes you to web store; and Start button attempts to connect.

It goes back to settings when they hit Join Game. It shows lobbies for just s second and then crashes and opens the website.

It sounds like their installation is all messed up, if the buttons are mixed up and the client is crashing.

Can you have them delete the C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\ directory, and running the installer again?
(Assuming they installed in the default location)
