Portraits not showing for my player

My player is unable to see their portrait or any other portrait. Ive logged in a localhost account and can see the portraits as well as see them on my gm screen, but my player cant see his own portraits. This only happens in 5e as we tested this in the standard CoreRPG and it worked just fine. Is there a fix to this? It worked fine just the other day.

    Ive tried:
    1. Deleting characters and remaking them
    2. removing them from his name, putting them in mine and altering portraits and giving them back
    3. Nuking all caches, his and my own
    4. Creating a new campaign
    5. Uninstalling FG on both our machines and totally doing a full reinstall

Only thing that worked was using another system in FG which wasnt 5e. Which is a problem as we are in a 5e game.

Thanks for any help you can provide

Are you using any extensions? Have you tried disabling those?

Normally I would think it’s a directory permissions issue; but that would generate an unable to write error. You can flush it on his side by uninstalling and deleting the FG data folder completely, then reinstalling. That will force the updater to rebuild the data directory from scratch.

I have tried disabling all extensions. None are currently loaded. Also, I have loaded no modules trying that as well. Like I said we even deleted FG totally and reinstalled. Both of us

When the player uninstalled did they also delete the FG data directory as Moon Wizard suggests?
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Images are showing up in their portraits folder which give them the option to select but once they select the image doesnt show up for them in the portrait box

OK, thanks for clarifying - I think we all thought the player couldn't see any portraits to select from.

Where did you get the portrait file? Can you post a link or the file here?

    Thanks,

Is it possible the portrait file is huge in terms of memory and dimensions?
