Burning effect for Searing Smite
Hello,
our paladin wanted to use searing smite today and did hit, the damage to the enemy was given.
Now the spell says that the enemy is lit on flames for up to 10 rounds, needing to pass a constitution saving throw each round or take another 1d6 damage.
Can this somehow be automated? (Like applying a burning effect and that effect using the spell save dc of the paladin each round to remove itself if passed / or after 10 rounds)
Is there a guide how to create effects for total newbies?

No, there isn’t a way to automate this. When the enemy’s turn comes around the Paladin should drag and drop the save into it and if it fails drag and drop the damage.
