CoreRPG Filter Issue
Moon,
There seems to be a issue with the Filter system in CoreRPG.
I tested the following in SFRPG, PFRPG and 5E all act the same.
No Extensions loaded in any of them.
CoreRPG show rev 3.3.9
If you add a record that adds a new category to one of the filter options, the filter list does not update until you reload FG.
I.E
--Opened NPCs and looked at the CR filter list (the highest CR rating was say 15)
--Created a new NPC and gave it a CR rating of 20
--Closed and opened the NPC Masterlist
--Checked the CR filter list (20 was not there)
/reload
--Open NPC Masterlist
--Check CR filter list (20 is now there)
I can understand needing to Close and reopen the List window (I.E NPCs) but don't think we should have to reload the campaign to get the filter list to update.

I'll add this to the list to look at for future versions. The issue is that the "master campaign list" for each record type does not actually "close", it just hides itself. So, I would have to add a mechanism to track which records/fields need to be monitored, and I don't know what the performance impact will be until I try it and see. Not an FGU item, so will be awhile yet.

Thanks Moon,
Just a little update.
-It does not have to be a FG reload to update the list, you can load or unload a module that has those records and it will update I.E opening a Bestiary type book will update the NPC filter lists.
-Also its only Adding, if you Delete a record and there are no more with that category the search field updates correct.Last edited by Samarex; November 30th, 2019 at 01:40.
