Removing a token assigned to PC

Not really an issue that rises to the level or tech support, but how do you remove a token assigned to a pc. In doing some testing with my gm I assigned a skittermander token to my pc. Now that I have a portrait I would like to remove the token. How do I do that?

Just give it a new token to replace the old. open up your tokens folder and drop one in. FG comes with several token modules you can load for some free examples, or you can add your own.

I don't really want a new token since I can use my portrait on the map. How do I just remove one without replacing it?

On the character sheet, drag the portrait picture over to the token slot and it will replace it.
