Given that the winter sale has already started and it does not include FGU with FGC, I think the decision has already been made

Yes, definitely some great deals right now. Have passed them on to my group.

Yep, this is basically the same effect as I was suggesting except that getting a very low cost upgrade to FGU, you get very low cost access to FGC and FGU is something you will still need to buy later. Hopefully it keeps the funds flowing while they try to bring FGU up to speed. I'm going to see if there is anything I want to buy that is on sale. I won't be able to download it until FGU comes out and it is updated to FGU, but a bargain is a bargain.

The Black Friday sale is great, worth checking out and using the opportunity. I've seen modules at 25-40% discount rates. Couldn't resist picking up a couple this time around, and considering two more.
FGC is on there as well with a great discount.

ps. Do not send PM's for support for the extensions I write, I will not not be able to respond there. Use the relevant forum threads instead so the community can benefit from the replies, thank you.

I just wish that I could run a game with my players. I bought the ultimate edition, but haven't really messed around with it too much, because there's very little reason to do it.

I thought Doug mentioned in his last Fantasy Grounds Fridays appearance there was a possibility soon (like maybe tomorrow?) of allowing demo license users to connect to beta FGU ultimate users' hosted campaigns. Of course that would mean making a demo license version of FGU beta available for installation.

Even if that doesn't materialize before general release, I am taking the time to prepare campaign materials, like adding LoS to my maps. My players and I are looking forward to that feature in particular.

As for the poll, I voted "something else". I would really like to conduct at least some one shots with my players using an early access demo license, even if there are no other early access licenses. In this way, game play would still be conducted under expanded limitations of the beta test agreement, since there would only be beta testers available for hosting games.
