Yes, i second that. Using 2 different sizes and definitions monitors is painful. 2 identical monitors or one extra large one is the way to go. Keep the 1080p for discord, syrinscape (or whatever comparable softwares) and chrome.

I've found with FG you really can't have too much monitor space. I DM with two 32" monitors in landscape mode and a 24" monitor in portrait mode and could still stand to add a little more space.
DMing since 1979. Ultimate License holder.
Currently GMing:
* Yggsburgh and Castle Zagyg - Castles and Crusades Greyhawk (Mon/Fri - on hiatus)
* Temple of Elemental Evil - Castles and Crusades Greyhawk (Thursday - on hiatus)
* 2e Greyhawk (Wednesday)
Thanks for 7+ years of gaming via FG my friends (2e / 3.5e / Rolemaster Classic / Castles & Crusades / Pathfinder / Savage Worlds / 5e).
There/Their/They're are all different words and do not mean the same thing.

I run an instance of FG as DM on my laptop and then a second instance as a player on the same laptop - I find it really useful to keep them separate. (Especially useful for in-person games where I can shift the player instance/window to an external display.)
