The only thing I haven't seen an answer to yet is if there is a way to apply a lump sum of damage to a monster without rolling?

Type the damage in the modifier box under the chat window, drag the modifier to the chat window then drag that number displayed in the chat window to the wounds field in the CT. If the number is positive it will apply damage (add to the wounds) and if it's negative it will apply healing.
