Music
Is there a way to play mp3's through the audio on FG? I have just started playing around with the DOE Sound extension and Syrinscape. I also just started playing around with Discord so I'm not too familiar if that has an option to do that or not. Ideally I'd like to play the mp3s softly as background music during the game and not get interrupted as people talk and be able to choose the songs as I go so I can cue up battle music during combat.

Theirs no audio built into FG.
But, using DOE Sounds and a voice app like Discord, or Teamspeak the answer is yes you can do what you want. What you will want to do is read the manual for the DOE Sound extension. There are also several threads with details on how to use DOE Sound with Discord and other apps.

I recommend Rob2e's videos on setting up sound in FG.
Twitch Tutorial Streaming 1
He uses Discord and Syinscape but the input/output sources can be changed without much difficulty.

There's a music discord bot out there, I think it's called 'freadboat'. It's passable but the music is limited by discord's quality. Else using a soundboard/mixer with teamspeak or mumble can do it. If you want to trigger sounds than the DOE is viable if you're on Windows.

How much is Voicemod software?
I know this thread is 2 years old, I am looking for music and voice-chaining on Discord too.

I believe ClownFish is free. I played with it once, but have since uninstalled. I think AudioVox is also free and does voice changing, but I've also since uninstalled it too.
