Deadlands Classic (& Possible Savage Worlds) - Jokers In Initative
Hi Everyone,
For those (very rare) few who GM Deadlands Classic:
How do you handle the Jokers (when drawn by the NPCs) in Initative?
The Players Handbook spells out explicitly how to handle both Jokers when drawn by Players, and mentions some of the Do's/Do Not's for the GM when drawing Jokers, but I can't find anywhere (Marshal's Handbook, Players Guide, or any other Sourcebook) that says what to do when the GM draws Jokers.
Some examples (ignoring the Chip Draw rules, which are very explicitly liad out in the Players Guide):
- Does the Red Joker work the same way for NPCs as it does for PC?
- Does the Black Joker work the same way for NPCs as it does for PC?
- Does the Black Joker (for the NPCs) work the same as the Red Joker (for the PCs) - and/or vice-versa?
- Do both Jokers work (for NPCs) in some combination as listed above?

Note: I've cross-posted this post into the Savage World Thread because SW grew out of Deadlands Classic and so there may be some overlap, and Deadlands Classic is pretty rare so I wanted as much knowledge tapped into as possible.
As a Moderator I know that cross-posting is a no-no, but I think in this instance my fellow moderators might just cut me some slack - I'm hoping so, anyway
