Free or cheap pregen 5e characters?
So I just bought FG, and was using DNDbeyond for storing my characters. It seems fairly complicated to import them into FG. I was wondering if anyone has made some free 5e pregenerated characters for download that I can edit. I'd also settle for any links to packs that cost money, so long as they are cheap.
I'm looking for level 1 characters in particular.Last edited by TheKnightsSquire; June 4th, 2019 at 01:22.

All those packs are great, however one of the characters I'm looking for is a Dwarf Ranger, but none of them had one unfortunately.
I'm also looking for tutorials on how to load them. I've searched but couldn't find any info on what folder character xml files go into.Last edited by TheKnightsSquire; June 4th, 2019 at 03:40.

Have you thought about using my D&D Beyond Character converter?
https://www.ai6k.com/dndbeyond
You simply enter your character ID, and it creates an XML file you import into FG.
(Provided your character is set to Public (the default) and not Private.

That sounds like just thing I was looking for! Dumb question though, where do I find the Character ID in my beyond sheet/account?

It's in the URL of each character, my site has instructions if I didn't screw that up with the updates.

Thanks, I found it, this is pretty much a life saver for me. But one more question, which folder do I put the xml file in?
