    Details of your scenario:
Ho there adventurers, stay a while and indulge an old man.

This adventure will have your characters experience the horrors, fear and despair of the domain of dread..Ravenloft.

The journey starts at level 1 and wil run til about level 10. You can expect to have difficulty finding allies and supplies while in Barovia. There will be a good balance of combat and roleplay and not just undead to contend with, we're leaning on the roleplay side - I'd say 40/60 respectively. Avoiding combat or making tenuous allies may often be a very reasonable option. I recommend a good mix of class archetypes.

Expect to be shunned, or even worse, as a non-human by most of the inhabitants of Barovia, with a possible exception to some elf subraces. Your character may change physically and mentally by the effects of the domain of dread, a player may go insane or end up with a permanent injury or perhaps strike a desperate and one-sided deals with some evil power. Death in general may work differently.. You must be ok with gruesome descriptions.

Your background, which may entail a wide variety of details entirely to your liking, should preferably be short and punchy. It must however hold a dark secret, have a particular phobia or traumatic experience from your past - or something else you character would not openly share from the get-go. While you need not be a goody two-shoes or warrior of light to fight the bleakness and evils of Ravenloft, make sure you have agency to aid others, yourself (through others) or just your immediate allies.

Player secrecy will be important, the party bond may not always remain as strong as it starts off. Roleplay your statistics and do not outright share them.

While Ravenloft is a dreary place, you can expect it to have comedy, adventure and intrigue through characters, places and combat. Things may be macabre, or morbid, even the humor, you must be somewhat ok with that.

Hope rests in the hands of the party and their banter in tough times, around the campfire surrounded by the darkness, this is where your wits and sanity are kept in check, perhaps with the few allies you may meet along the way.

    Basic requirements for your application:

    • Players of ages 21 and up.
    • Players are ok with UTC+1 time zone schedule, you can be from anywhere else still.
    • Players that have patience, discipline, commitment and respect for the game, other players and the DM.
    • Players that have not played this adventure before.
    • Players that have a good grasp of the English language.
    • Players must have a decent mic and preferably use push-to-talk.
    • Players that have the intent on balancing the roleplay and game elements of D&D.
    • No munchkins, quarterbackers, meta-gamers, rules lawyers, etc.
    • No rape fantasies, over indulgent weebs, assaulting and/or insulting/bullying other players or the DM.

If all or most of the above fit you? You may very well be the adventurer I am looking for! Adventure on, at your own peril..
