5E - Is there an effect to extend vision?

Is there an effect that can be added to a character that will change the range of darkvision? One of my characters has a magic item that grants 60' darkvision or increases their current range by 50%. Since they are a half-elf it would make the characters darkvision 90'

Wasn't sure if there was a way to code that as an effect.

    VISION: 90 darkvision

See here for more details https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...Vision+on+Maps
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Would there be any way to write it such that it reads the current vision amount and then does a 1.5 multiplier or something?

You could use the following extension to add the effect to the item itself https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/68/view

That way, if the pc equips the item, the effect will be placed on the combat tracker.

I have that. it is just having to put it as 90' which only applies if the creature is started at 60' as it stands.
