so it looks like you have a modem and a router or a router and a wifi router or some similar setup.
on the 192.168.50.1 device port forward tcp (may as well do udp as well for fgu) 1802 to your computer IP
on the 192.168.100.254 device port forward tcp (may as well do udp as well for fgu) 1802 to the wan ip address of the 192.168.50.1 device

HI
Here is the data. I noticed on the Actiontec that I had not applied the rule. So I did that and now FGU shows failure immediately instead on taking about 5 seconds. So something changed there, which is a start!
Here are the settings.
ASUS ROUTER
Service Name External Port Internal Port Internal IP Address Protocol Source IP
FG 1802 1802 BOTH
Actiontec Modem
Protocol Port Start Port End Port Map
TCP 1802 1803 111
UDP 1802 1803 1802Last edited by Solonthar; July 14th, 2020 at 15:24. Reason: Fixed

Hi Damned
FIXED...woohoo. It was the Actiontec. I deleted the prior rules I had set up but never put into the Applied box.
The redo worked!
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I'm using Home Gateway HG255s model and Turkcell Superonline Fiber service. I have uninstalled all my Antiviruses, and disabled windows defender from all sides (all that is left to enter into a shady site and destroy my OS and all the data) so there won't be any false positives. I've forwarded port to 1802 from my model and I'm still getting Connection failure. Moreover, this tool also returns "Port Closed". I've also tried opening all of my ports to any data (and inviting everyone doing port scans). It doesn't work. My FG worked normally beforehand, I have GMed over 200 hours without problem. On the flip side, I think nobody can connect me but I want to GM so, this is kind of frustrating.
I'm using Windows 10 Professional Edition.

Xeonen you have zero chance of making that work.
Look at the Port forward alternatives thread.

You have multiple private IP addresses between you and the internet (all the one starting with 10) so it looks like your ISP is sharing IP addresses which means you are unlikely to be able to port forward since you won’t be able to access those addresses.
You will have to consider a VPN https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...d-AlternativesIf there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

I have downloaded and installed ZeroTier but I have yet to test it. The weird thing is, I used FG without a problem for 200 hours until today from the very same computer, very same internet connection.
Thanks for the info though, I've checked IPs with 10s but nothing came out.

Hi Xeonen
Please log on to your router and post answers to all 8 questions - not just the tracert.
Just in case.

Hello,
I offer my humble apologies for the late reply. I didn't see something was posted. My WAN IP address is same for every single image. x.yy. I did not want to post it publicly as I've set it to be static.
I'd like to say though, FG worked for me for 200 hours until it didn't.
1. Your LAN IP Address
192.168.x.yy
2. The first two sets (octects) of your WAN IP as displayed by Fantasy Grounds and as displayed by your Router

3. Whether you are using Wired or Wireless (and not both)
wired
4. Confirmation that you have set your Adapter in Network and Sharing Centre to Private

5. Confirmation of what AV you are running and whether you have set any exceptions
BitDefender, it does nothing on the web traffic and I've tried with it is uninstalled and computer restarted.
6. Post the results of the tracert 8.8.8.8 command (if you have security concerns you can remove this bit once its been responded to)

7. Confirmation as to what you have setup in your Router if changes have been made

8. Confirmation you do or do not have any Virtualisation NICs
I'm not sure, I'm using an on board ethernet card, Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller.Last edited by Xeonen; July 18th, 2020 at 13:41.
