    Hi GrsslyIncndscnt

See hops 2,3,4,5,6 are all Private IP Addresses.
You say your External IP is 177.239.x.x - is that what FG shows or what your Router shows? If your Router does not also show that address then you will need to speak to your ISP and tell them "I have a new home security system and it needs an IPv4 Port Forward. Can you set that up for me"

    Greetings,

    Having trouble following this step:
'Go into your Windows Firewall or other Software Firewall and create a new Rule - Accept ANY/ALL connections from ANY/ALL computer/address on specific ports TCP 1802 and then retest"

Is there a tutorial step by step for this?

It depends upon which version of Windows you are using and if you are using other security software it will have its own steps.

Generic instructions for Windows can be found with the following search, you can edit it to your specific Windows Version if needed, or to your security software.

Q.2 what does your ROUTER say your IP is? If the router does not say that your IP is the same as you posted above then you cannot port forward on this connection.
Q.5 rather than deactivate make sure you add a rule allowing all three fantasygrouns executables to work in and outbound
Q.6 you have 8 private hops between you and the internet - please see Q.2

Are you using Comcast or Xfinity or one of the services listed in the sticky? My daughter does and she tried the whitelist every 30 days approach and finally got fed up and turns off “advanced protection’ before she plays as allowing it to be on was way too inconsistent.

Yes. I use my own router and modem so I do not have to deal with it. Otherwise you need to either whitelist specific IP every 30 days or you need to turn off advanced security. I called and yelled at Xfinity twice on behalf of my daughter. Maybe if enough people yell at them they will make their advanced security more advanced and not block ports that are specifically being forwarded.
