I'm having troubles connecting
Hi, I have been trying to make it work but it keeps failing to connect, and I need help.
1. Your LAN IP Address
192.168.0.1
2. The first two sets (octects) of your WAN IP as displayed by Fantasy Grounds and as displayed by your Router
155.4.128.128
3. Whether you are using Wired or Wireless (and not both)
Wired
4. Confirmation that you have set your Adapter in Network and Sharing Centre to Private
Yes, see zip file
5. Confirmation of what AV you are running and whether you have set any exceptions
I'm using ESET and it handels windows firewall, but I have made rules in both for FG.
6. Post the results of the tracert 8.8.8.8 command (if you have security concerns you can remove this bit once its been responded to)

Hi ironwill6132
Im pretty sure your ISP is doing some CGNat. We shall dive in and find out.
In image 5 -you do not need to specify the remote port and you do not need outbound rules. You only shoudl be configuring Inbound rules and allowing traffic Inbound to TCP1802.
in Image 7 the protocol should be TCP but choosing both wont stop it from working.
What we need is an image of the TPLink routers status or similar page that shows its WAN ip address.

I removed the outbound rule from WFW I don't know if the "Router Status" pic is what your requesting.

Hi ironwill6132
Fantasy Grounds sees your WAN IP as 155.4.128.128
Your Router is showing it as 100.65.28.98
This is a special range of IP Addresses reserved for ISPs to use in aggregating multiple customers onto a single IPv4 address.
If FG was working for you previously and now has stopped then your ISP has change the connection on you.
I would contact them and say:
"I have a home security system that requires a TCP port forward. Can you change my connection to allow me to do IPv4 port forwards?"
They may either do that. They may give you a range of ports you can use (report back and Ill show you how to use them). Or most likely they will say sorry we cant help.
In the latter case your best bet is FGU or look at the Port Forward Alternatives thread.

I tried for a few hours now to fix the problem and still can't figure it out. I made port forwarding for 1802, changed firewall preferences and I tried to find UPnP but couldn't find that anywhere on my router settings.
1. IDK if you mean the IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.194
2. Internal: 192.168.1.194 External: 97.168.1.194 (This is not my forte, sorry if these are the wrong values)
3. Wired, but to a bouncer not the actual router.
4. Set to Private.
5. The AV is off, but I also added exceptions for FG and one specifically for 1802.
6. Tracing route to dns.google [8.8.8.8]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 3 ms 5 ms 2 ms Linksys11557.Home [192.168.1.11]
2 3 ms 2 ms 1 ms 192.168.0.1
3 24 ms 21 ms 22 ms tukw-dsl-gw69.tukw.qwest.net [63.231.10.69]
4 22 ms 21 ms 21 ms 63-226-198-33.tukw.qwest.net [63.226.198.33]
5 22 ms 22 ms 21 ms sea-edge-15.inet.qwest.net [67.14.41.158]
6 23 ms 23 ms 21 ms 72.14.221.108
7 22 ms 24 ms 24 ms 108.170.233.129
8 21 ms 22 ms 21 ms 142.251.55.199
9 22 ms 21 ms 21 ms dns.google [8.8.8.8]
7. I have added a port forward for 1802 TCP into my router.
8. I'm not really sure what this is.
I know this is fairly wishy washy for a bunch of answers, but hopefully it was the correct information you needed?

Welcome SP
You need to forward TCP 1802 on your Router to the Repeaters WAN IP and from the repeater to your PCs IP.
Also if you are using FG Unity you dont need to do this - just use the cloud connection.

Sorry, how do I go about forwarding TCP 1802 to the repeaters IP and then to my PC's IP?
And I am using FGC not unity.

You’ll need to forward the port from the router to the repeater and then from the repeater to your computer. You’ll need to be able to access both from your computer. You’ll find the user manuals for both online usually and that will tell you how to access then and set port forwarding.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Post a screenshot of your routers port forward rules.
Also logon to your repeater and post a screenshot of its status page
