Embedding Images from another Module in a Reference Manual
Hi guys!
I'm trying to embed images from one module in another module's reference manual to cut down on redundant data. I think that this is close:
<imagelink type="windowreference">
<class>imagewindow</class>
<recordname>image.id-00139@Incarnate-Penolia</recordname>
</imagelink>
I got the generality from here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/...erence_Manuals but it neglects to say what class to use for this context of image, so I subbed in what we use for links elsewhere.
Of note, this does not work:
<image type="image"><bitmap>id-00139.jpg@Incarnate-Penolia</bitmap></image>
The guide says that it is supposed to be for local links, ie:
<image type="image"><bitmap>id-00139.jpg</bitmap></image>
which does work, but leads to redundant data I'm trying to avoid.
Ideas?
Thank you!

Bitmap definition requires that you must have the image local/inside the module. There is no easy to embed image to reference manual from another source.
On the other hand if you reference it as picture/token it would work but picrure block types should be avoided because they cause overhead to memory usage.
The best bet is to skip embedding and reference it as link like in your example above."Alright, you primitive screwheads, listen up: THIS... is my BOOMSTICK!" -- Ash Williams, Army of Darkness
