I have talked to them pretty extensively in the past and the suggestion was always dedicated ip.

I connect to the same server in that mode every time and it works and my ip address never changes.

My players report is actually appears faster than my home connection to them sometimes.

I was just able to run a session using the shared internet at the United Airlines lounge in Hong Kong it worked fine.

So I am also interested in the settings you were told to use. You are hosting a session, not playing a game.

Okay here goes..
So I had to head over to my internet adapter settings, switch off dynamic DNS and enter specifically 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, then I'm using the host "usla1.ptoserver.com".
No Dedicated IP, no NAT Firewall, just works. This obviously means I have a different IP at the start of each session, but as long as I communicate that there should be no issue, the connection works fine.
I'll be honest, things started to go over my head, I've genuinely no idea why it didnt work in the first place, and why it's now working under these settings, but I'm happy it is, and I'm happy there's evidence of at least one person at PureVPN that knows what they are doing, even if I had to go to the billing team and ask for a refund to find them.

No need to tell your players a new IP address. Use the FG alias - this is why it's there, so you don't need to keep telling your players a different IP address. Just make sure you start FG after PureVPN has allocated the IP address.
