Ok I have two races. A female Water Genasi and a Fire Dragonborn.
And they want to make a baby. Have fun!

I'd go with something along these lines:

Ability Score Increase:
variant #1 STR +2, WIS +1;
variant #2 CON +2, CHA +1;

age as humans 100 year life span;
Breath Weapon as per Dragonborn: 15ft. steam cloud (fire damage);
@3rd level ability to cast Fog Cloud as a 2nd level spell once per long rest;
if Gold Dragonborn heritage add amphibious; if Brass Dragonborn heritage add fire resistance; if Red Dragonborn heritage add ?? fire resist for the easy answer;

Age: The egg will take 6 months to hatch. She will walk hours after hatching. She will be the size of a human 10 year old at age 5 and reach adulthood at 15. She will have a lifespan of 100.
Ability Score Increase: 1 Constitution 2 Charisma
Speed: 30 feet Walk and Swim
Size: Tall just over 6' but very thin at around 135 pounds. Size Medium
Resistance: Fire and Acid Resistance
Abilities:
[Acid Spit 1d6 + 1d6 for every 5 levels. The range is 10 ft. and is a bonus action. It last for 3 rounds taking half damage of the previous round. The creature must make Dex Saving Throw vs. 8+ your Constitution modifier to take half damage If a target of this abilitie spends a full round washing the affected area in water (or similar liquid) the acid will be negated.]
[At 3rd level ability to cast Fog Cloud as a 2nd level spell once per rest]
[At 5th level ability to cast Gaseous for on self only.]
