Modifying graphics in an extension through another extension.

I was wondering if there was a way to take an existing extension such as the DOE Sound extension (as well as the other DOE extensions), and have my theme have a graphic replace the extensions graphic.

I am aiming to have the sidebar icons for the Sound, Locations, and Organizations as well as the weather, alignment, OLE, and campaign icons get changed to match the rest of my theme, without editing the actual DOE extension itself since it will impact the rest of my campaigns.

I can manipulate XML well enough, and I can dabble a bit in LUA, but I just wanted to see how the files are going to need to be referenced or even if they can at all. Considering that I'm referencing an extension with an extension, it made me wonder.

Anyone have advise? Especially Dulux-Oz. I'll also post on how it turns out in the screenshots section or as a reply here once it is finished.

If its for personal use only (ie not for sale / giving away / whatever) then I don't have any particular problem with it.

What you need to do is determine which set of Graphics (ie which Ruleset) you need to change and simply have an XML file with a set of Graphic Resources with the same names (but pointing to your new graphics, of course). Then give your Extension a "loadorder" of something big - like something over 200 or more - so that your Extension loads after the DOE(s).

That's about it.

Yeah it is for personal use since it is a theme that is really only usable in my campaign since it is based on the Persona video game universe. Though I will share the screenshot of the design when I finish the theme, just in case if anyone is interested in me releasing a campaign neutral version (minus the extensions of course until permission would be granted).
