App won't launch.
I've just downloaded FG, and the update finished, but not the app won't launch. It makes no difference whether I attempt to start it from the start menu or from Explorer. Nothing happens. No splash screen, no dialog box, no window opens.
I've tried running FantasyGrounds.exe as administrator, I've tried turning off my antivirus temporarily, I've tried running FantasyGroundsUpdater.exe.
I've found an error event (in Event Viewer) that seems to be related to each time I've tried to run the app and they all contain the same info:
Code:Faulting application name: FantasyGrounds.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x56b28688 Faulting module name: FantasyGrounds.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x56b28688 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0014ef86 Faulting process id: 0x1d1c Faulting application start time: 0x01d16b6f953f2211 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\FantasyGrounds.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\FantasyGrounds.exe Report Id: c1c79138-85c8-4651-8ed7-225e7bd9b293 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID:

I got it to work by uninstalling and reinstalling with steam. Uninstalling was a bit of a pain though, since hitting the uninstall button produced exactly the same results as trying to run the program. I deleted the install folder and searched under HKEY_CURRENT_USER in regedit and deleted the key tree I found. I wouldn't recommend that fix unless you know what you're doing in regedit, though. This may have been due to an heavily loaded internet connection corrupting the updates, though I can't be sure, of course.
