Updater locking on Monster Manual

My updater keeps locking up when it goes to update WOTC5EMMDELUXE.

Windows 10 PC

Not sure what to do.

One thing to check is that often times it is still actually downloading the module even though it may appear to be frozen. You can look in your application data folder and refresh periodically to see if the file size for content.dat is still increasing.

To expand on what Doug mentions - in the FG App directory (click the folder in the top right of the main FG launch screen to access) there is a content.dat file that contains all of the encrypted FG modules (WOTC material and others). When you run an update, a new file will be temporarily created: content.dat.tmp. It is this file that increases in size during an update and once the update is finished it will be renamed to content.dat and content.dat.tmp will effectively disappear at the end of the update.
