Here is a Tavern
two story Tavern with a cellar behind the bar. The Second Floor overlooks the bar of the first floor.

Thanks! I used Gimp; after sketching the building I used fuzzy select to get the walls, grew the selection and then AutoFilled with various patterns. After that I just dropped various items and patterns down. Did some lighting effects to make it stand out. Had about 100 layers and it took almost an entire day.

As a first try that map was pretty good, but it did not look right to me. So I fiddle with it and experimented with different textures and patterns. Did a bit of a redesign and put some more thought in to the floor plan. So here is the New and Improved Tavern!I even left a couple tables without chairs in case you wanted to put in chair tokens to move around for the PCs.
