Thread: Cave Map Tiles

  1. #11
The next part of the Cave Map Tiles set has just been finished and uploaded to the studio Store. This part gives you access to a range of curved walls set on ether a 5ft radius or a 10ft radius circle. With these curved sections of wall, you can build far more organic shapes in your underground cave system.

    Very nice.
I never claimed to be sane. Besides, it's more fun this way.

Part #6 has just been wrapped up and posted to the Studio Store. This part of the Cave Map Tiles set includes a few different odds'n'ends. First up are a set of dirt step tiles. Tiles that can be used to create the impression that there is a recessed or lower area of dirt terrain. After this are a series of waters edge multi-tile blocks for adding a water feature to your maps. This then spun off a bunch of wooden jetty multi-tiles and a range of tiles for building wooden walkways and platforms over water tiles. The water tiles link up to the water tiles from the first Dungeon Map Tiles set.

The end is starting to come into sight. Just finished working on some interlinking tiles so that a cave system can be linked to a Dungeon system made with the Dungeon Map Tiles original set.

But also working on some cave ideas as entrances to a cave map system.

Excellent, can't wait to have the set.
Do you have any plans on doing a wasteland or apocalypse setting set?
    Towns and bunkers/vaults?

We shall have to wait and see. I want to get this set finished and wrapped up. Then I plan to do a few more token sets, mostly monsters and the like as I think there are enough "player character" token sets and not enough monsters.

But I still plan to release more Map Tiles, but they may be stand alone packs. Kind of "addon" packs that expand the big sets. In those I will more than likely build some wasteland and apocalypse stuff. I know I have a road in mind that will work with both the grass and dirt tiles.

Part seven is ready and just been uploaded. This is a little pack of finishing and polishing tiles that give Map Builders access the details such as a wildreness surface cave to act as the entrance to a cave system. Plus interlinking tiles that will let you link up a Dungeon complex build with the map tiles from the first Dungeon Map Tiles set to a cave system built with this set of map tiles.
