Sorcerer, Font of Magic, Sorcery Points?

To set this up I created a Power Group Labeled "Font Of Magic". My Sorcerer currently has 3 points so I added 3 Daily uses. and I added one power labeled "Add Spell Slots".

At this point I was all "Woot" but then read the last paragraph where she can convert spells to point. DUH....


Any advice? Or did I miss something?

Just mark off a spell slot and use your sorcery points for whatever metamagic ability you want to use. Presumably you wouldn't convert a spell slot to sorcery points if you weren't about to use them right? So mark off the spell slot and use the ability. If you have leftover points (burned a 2nd level slot to get 2 points and only used one for Empowered Spell) then just clear 1 use of your Sorcery Points daily use.
