Applying 5/dmg rnd Acid for 3 rnds using Effects

Can I apply a traps damage of 5/rnd Acid for 3 rnds using the effects or some other mechanism?

(even if it means using Nic's extension)

I would script the effect like this:
    TRAP EFFECT; DMGO: 5 acid
    (duration of effect: 3 rnds)

    Excellent, thanks.

To do regular damage I would guess it is: TRAP EFFECT; DMG: 3D6 acid

Correct? Where would I find these instructions?

I would assume fast healing would be: HEAL EFFECT; HEAL0: 5 heal D:nn

I finished Nic's ext thread (expanded effects tags) and I guess it is not available now .
I feel like I really missed something great.

    Use FHEAL instead of HEAL0
(DMGO stands for DMG "Ongoing" I presume, and HEAL0 does not exist as a command)

Anyway, you should have a glance at the wiki there:

Effects are applied to an individual in the combat tracker and are triggered by an event - usually the roll of a dice, which then applies any related effects to the die roll. The DMG effect means that the damage listed will be added to a damage roll, it does not trigger a damage roll.

FHEAL (Fast Healing) and DMGO (damage ongoing) are exceptions to this (being applied to a dice roll) - but they are triggered at the beginning of the creature's turn (when the combat tracker steps to them).

As Markjan suggest - the wiki has a page dedicated to effects and their syntax. Also do a search for effects in the 3.5e/Pathfinder forum as there are quite a few posts on effects with many examples. One such thread (which is a sticky at the top of the 3.5e/Pathfinder forums) here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...ffects-library

For doing trap damage I suggest you build an NPC record of type "trap" - this will allow you to enter the attack/damage in the effect section (in the same format as NPC attacks) and roll as you would a normal attack.

There is more info on setting up traps in this document: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/...tion_Guide.pdf Page 7 onwards shows how to add a trap entry - a spell related trap at first and then starting at the bottom of page 12 are details on adding a manual trap.
