Converting the Slumbering Tasr to FG..

I am in the process of converting the entirety of Slumbering Tsar Saga (Pathfinder Edition) to FG. As of right now, I have the first book's story entries, the NPCs, tokens for NPCs and some maps from the book have all been moved over into FG. The only issues I am running into is creating the maps required for the first book. There are maps for several large areas that have their grids listed in as 1 square = 10 feet if not more.

My question is, how do other DM's handle maps like that? DO they just use the maps and say the distances are in 5ft or do they completely recreate the maps for a 5ft scale? I would rather do the full 5ft scale, but my abilities as a map maker are pretty low and the recreating all the maps will probably take a lot of time..

Any suggestions?

I just add a grid on the image in Fantasy Grounds and fit 2 x 5 foot FG grid squares into one map square (if the map squares are 10 feet). Then FG will measure movement, range, etc. as the correct distance in feet and you don't need to modify the map. Do the same for any grid scale - when you draw the square for the FG grid draw it for 5 feet based off the relevant scale on the map.
