First off.. I'd like to say thank you to Doug for putting up this forum for us. I hope this will make things much easier for everyone to play in these games without the hassles of multiple boards and groups.

As for business...
My suggestion would be for GMs to post individual threads for each upcoming game.. along with a link to a calendar entry for game signups. Players can then upload their character to that thread and any pre/post game communications can be taken care of there. Since the threads autosubscribe posters and send FG sends emails to subscribers in the thread.. players should receive communications regarding activity in the game while other members of the group will not, unless they specifically subscribe to a given thread.
