The model number listed in the routes home address is WGR614v8 but I would warn that the router is a custom model that comcast gets from netgear, at least that's what the guy that installed it said. I have already port forwarded and checked it so many times I memorized the port by heart.

ok I feel like a total jack *** for wasting everyone's time like this but I checked the IP address that was associated with the program and found that it was set to ***.***.1.5 and needed to be set to ***.***.1.2. So I changed it and bingo it works without even a hiccup. Once again I am sorry.
