Questions about custom abilities and spells
I'm working towards having some custom abilities or spells to help my players out and I'm running into some things that I am unclear on. Here's the list:
* I can create a custom ability on one character sheet and add the actions without a problem. When I try to copy it to another character sheet, an entry is added but all of the specific actions seem to get lost.
* I can create a custom spell on a character sheet with the actions as expected. When I try to copy it to the main campaign spells (I created a new group), it doesn't seem to do anything.
* If I try to create a new spell directly in the main campaign spells, I can't see a way to add the various actions in there.
My preference would be to use the abilities page as I think that's more consistent with where my players will look and that the serums aren't exactly a spell. However, maybe that's not the best way to do it and I'm certainly open to alternatives.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
If more detail is useful, I'm currently trying to setup the various serum of healing levels so each character has an easy way to roll them. For the two methods I tried with the campaign spells, I went and created a 5E game and it seemed to work more how I would have anticipated there; I could copy the spells to the campaign and when I created a new spell from scratch there I found a section at the bottom specifically for the actions.
