Start your own Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path! Campaigns will run from Level 1 to 12 (at least), and will be customized to your characters. We'll leave out the parts that aren't fun, and integrate your character backgrounds into the setting.

About me:
Hi, there! I have been running Dungeons & Dragons regularly since 2008, and I currently focus on D&D 5th edition. I've run games for players from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, including volunteering as a DM with kids and young adults with autism.

I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, give one of my games a try! I will work with players to make a safe space for LGTBQ+ players, players of colour and players with neurodiversity.

How to prepare
Players should have a mic (webcam is optional), and should install the Free Demo version of Fantasy Grounds Unity.

What I provide
DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (no cost to join or download Fantasy Grounds).

Gameplay Details
Game themes will be adjusted to the age & wishes of participating players.
With adult players, we will discuss safety tools, including Lines & Veils. For example, a Line that I won't cross is any depiction of sexual assault, and I am happy to leave in-game depictions of consensual sex behind a Veil. Players will get every opportunity to define their own boundaries.

How will character creation work?
Players may participate in a 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond and imported, or created from the ground up in Fantasy Grounds. Standard array or point buy

There are lots of reasons that a player might have trouble finding a consistently reliable DM for a campaign. I simply will not flake or ghost on you.

You have the ability to leave the campaign at any time, and the only way I can get you to stay is by providing high-quality entertainment that makes you feel you are getting value.
You will be playing with other players who have decided that gaming is important enough to them that they are willing to pay.

Hey snaggle2th!

I am LFG of adult players who don't take themselves too serious but take the game somewhat serious since we are paying (showing up on time, not wasting others' time with non-RGP talk/actions). I have played off and on for 35yrs as both a DM and as a player. I am still working on my role playing skills, but feel I am a skilled tactician.

1. Has the campaign already started or is it getting ready to? I hate dropping in when everyone is already established.
2. What are your homebrew rules?
3. What vibe do you foster (serious, laugh-fest, etc.)?

Hi there! Thanks for your interest. The Tomb of Annihilation campaign is currently at 9th level. If you are looking for a campaign that is just starting, my Odyssey of the Dragonlords 5e game on Saturday nights (7pm EST) might be more up your alley. As far as the vibe, I like to play it with a sense of humour, but 'laugh-fest' would be too strong. 'Relaxed' might be a better word. I do agree with your suggestion that players in pay campaigns do tend to be more reliable and on-task.

As far as homebrew rules, I tend to avoid them--about the only one I can think of is that I allow drinking potions as a bonus action. That said, I am very open to improvised actions, provided they are described in an immersive way that sounds awesome. The Dragonlords campaign is ancient Greek flavoured, rather than the typical medieval Western European, and has custom player options (raced & subclasses) to support that.
