SmiteWorks adds two new members to the team
Please allow me to introduce you to the two new hires who will be joining us July 6th. Paulette didn't have to be the new person on the team for very long.
Joshua Utter joins us as our new C# Software Developer. He is fresh out of school with a B.S. in Computer Science from Western Oregon University. He was the President of the Byte Club at the university and he excels at database design, SQL, Python, C, C++ and C#. He has some background in PHP and MySQL development too. He has also taken elective courses in parsers and lexers. He is an avid tabletop roleplaying player and DM, and he spent a good deal of time designing and writing his own tabletop roleplaying game simulator. He worked as an intern where he focused on automation and impressed his bosses there. We haven't told him about the annual Josh battle yet.
Jean-Paul Barard joins the team as a dedicated Video Game Tester. He has 11 years of experience testing all aspects of video games. He joined the gaming industry in 1997 working with a company called Interactive Magic. He then moved to Timeline Entertainment where he worked on a video game based on Michael Crihchton's best selling book Timeline. From there, he worked the majority of his career at Vicious Cycle where he worked on games such as Robotech: Invasion, Dinotopia, Dora the Explorer, Curious George, Despicable Me, Dead Head Fred, Spy vs Spy, Ben 10 Galactic Racing, and many other titles.
