RPG Sounds - A Free App on Steam

So, anyone who owns a lot of sounds and is still looking for a good mixer / sound board, I backed a program on kickstarter called RPG Sounds. They decided to release the app for free to all on steam. You can buy their downloadable soundpacks if you want but you don't need to. It has the ability to create and stream directly to players as well. I would really encourage you to check it out. I hope they will be able to keep it free but for now its really good. It doesn't integrate with syrinscape but again, if you own a lot of sounds you can upload them into the program, create scenes, oneshots, etc..

Just to be clear, I don't get anything out of this. I'm not getting paid or any type of referral fee, etc. I just think this is a really good free program to check out.

Very nice, I actually grabbed some DLC sources. Still a WIP, but nicely done!

Agreed. Still a WIP but I've purchased so many different programs like this and I really like what they are doing and they seem committed. I've uploaded thousands of files and so far it seems to work. Just need to organize some sessions and try it out for real.

I've just been having a look at this on Steam and there's no free app to download, only paid-for DLC. Have they taken it down?

Hmmm... I'll post in their discord. They are very active there. Someone else posted this morning that they could only add to their wishlist. I wonder if there is just a current issue. Definitely haven't taken it down. I'll report back once I hear. In the meantime, I did a quick review last night and posted to youtube. You can find it here:

I'm in contact with the developers and others are having a similar issue right now. They are working to figure it out but they have not taken down the app.

Yeah.. I apologize for suggesting something and have this issue happen but I know they are on it as several folks have reported the same thing. As soon as I hear something I will let you know!

So, quick update that was sent to all of us who backed the kickstarter. This was sent to me within the last 5 minutes:

1) Steam downloads for RPG Sounds are not working at all (we don't know why yet). We've sent tickets and trying to contact Steam support to solve this issue ASAP. We really don't know why this is happening and how long it'll take to be solved. I hope it can be fixed today.
