Knowing that FGU is currently still on early access, I would like to know if having class features (like rage) coded is in the developer's road map (even if it is not anytime in the near future).

Knowing that FGU is currently still on early access, I would like to know if having class features (like rage) coded is in the developer's road map (even if it is not anytime in the near future).
Rage and other class features are already available by using effects. These have been around for years. See the wiki article on 'effects' for the ruleset you are using.
If you are using DnD 5E, you can also look at the new Character Wizard, as it will be helping to create effects and actions for features as well.
This is available on FGU? I tried creating a Barbarian and the Rage is pretty empty when I drag and drop it. Most spells seem to have code on it, but class feature and feat doesn't seem so.
Maybe I am doing something wrong? Can you please teach me?
What LE is saying is that the effects for Barbarian rage and most other class abilities are not automatically created - you need to create them yourself using the effects system.
You can read about the effects system here (and Barbarian Rage is given as an example at the bottom) https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...ced+Automation
You can see a series of videos here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...-Videos-for-5E
And there's more videos on creating effects in this list https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...112#post492112
So what I am asking is that is it part of the developer's road map to automate the effects? Or we will have to do it ourselves even in the future
It may very well be on the roadmap for the future, yes. The current effects system relies on an internal parser which tries to create the effects based on the language used in the spell/ability/whatever. However there are limits to what something like that can do and the devs do want to look at ways of changing that at some point; but there hasn't been any word as to what that might look like or when it might be implemented. The current development work is squarely aimed at getting Unity ready for launch as is right now. Once it is released though there will certainly be a lot of development time devoted to enhancing the software.
The Character Wizard that is being developed for 5E. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...Reports-(2020). Yes it is available for FGU.
I think it's on the roadmap to overhaul the effects system certainly, and that will impact on the Wizard as well I have no doubt. But currently the wizard doesn't do what the OP wants which is to automatically add in the effects for class features such as Barbarian's rage.
