I need a hero (a heroic mechanics sage)

Please teach me about magic item creation in 3.5 d&d. I am wanting to get back into d&d after a 5 year hiatus and have forgotten most of what i once knew about this topic. I am wanting to dm but before i do this is one of the areas i would like to sure up a bit on. Aggressively. Oh. Also this is my first post on the forum. Hi (no one in particular). *waives*

Sorry, I can't help. Been too long since I ran 3.5. I believe the DMG had guidelines for item creation.

Sadly, it would be a bit too big of a topic :D I have also no idea about magic item creation; as LordEntrails said, look at the DMG :) And the magic item compendium is useful for that, too :)
