Question on Dice Mechanics

I hoping that someone might know the answer to my question.

There is a new RPG coming called Broken Compass which has a dice mechanic I have not seen before. Success are measure by the number of matching dice. So, if you roll 6d6 and get 1,2,3,4,5,6, you fail, but if you got 1,1,3,4,4,5, then you would have two successes. Three matching dice is better than two matching dice and four are better than three. Two successes of two matching dice, counts as three matching dice. Or three match dice plus two matching dice couts as four matching dice.

Is the dice mechanic already present in CoreRPG, MoreCore or via an extension?
